Poker is a game that has been played for decades all over the world, with most professional players being located in United States. The roles change on the flop and onward, when the small blind becomes the first player to bet, check or fold and this structure in viewers all the way to the river. The goal in poker is obviously to make the best possible hand, or at least one that is stronger than what your opponents have

Different hand combinations in poker

While the rules differ a lot all poker games have the same structure when it comes to the combinations of poker cards, with the weakest hand being one pair. Two pairs are slightly better, but they are no match for three of a kind which just as the name suggests, consists of three cards of the same value. The straight is made of five consecutive cards and the flush requires five cards sharing the same suits.

They are both weaker than a full house and the next strong hand is four of a kind, with the name being self-explanatory as the hand consists of four cards of identical value. At the top of the food chain we find the straight flush and the Royal flush, which are basically straight on the same suit and the latter also ends with an Ace.
